We understand that emergencies can arise at any hour as placements may break down, plans may change, and young people may find themselves without the support or environment they need. In these moments, Guinto Care Services responds quickly and compassionately to ensure every young person has a safe place to stay and the care they deserve.
Our Crisis and Emergency Placement Service offers nationwide availability, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We work closely with Local Authorities, Children’s Trusts, and social care professionals to provide immediate, tailored support that meets each young person’s unique needs and circumstances.
Every placement is built around the individual. We provide 2:1, 3:1, and 4:1 staffing ratios, ensuring that every young person receives the right level of supervision and care to remain safe and supported. All our staff hold a QCF Level 3 in Residential Child Care and are PMVA trained, bringing skill, calmness, and professionalism to even the most complex and high risk situations.
Our teams have extensive experience supporting young people affected by criminal exploitation, county lines activity, knife crime, sexual and criminal exploitation, trauma, substance misuse, attachment disruption, and mental health difficulties. We understand the fear, uncertainty, and distress that can come with crisis, and our trauma informed approach is designed to bring immediate safety, emotional containment, and reassurance.
We know that crisis placements are more than just providing accommodation as they are about stabilising lives in moments of chaos. Our care teams create nurturing, structured environments that help young people begin to regulate, rebuild trust, and re engage with positive routines.
